Meet the Founder: Todd Weitzman
Hey, I’m Todd. I’ve spent my career on the inside of the healthcare revenue cycle—seeing how billing works, where things go off the rails, and most importantly, how patients are often left in the dark about why their bill is what it is.
I didn’t wake up one day and decide to take on the U.S. healthcare system. The seed for Costhowmuch.com was actually planted back in 2008, during a health administration course at Florida Atlantic University. It opened my eyes to just how little the average patient knows about the financial side of care—and how broken our system is when it comes to transparency.
Fast-forward to today, and after working with providers, payers, and billing systems across the country, I knew it was time to build a resource that pulls back the curtain on healthcare pricing.
